Yellow is sunlight. It brings hope and cheerfulness, indicates honor, produces a warming effect, and stimulates mental activity.
According to the principles of chromotherapy, the color yellow is used to strengthen the nervous system, support digestion, and promote proper bowel movement.
Therapeutically, the Solar Plexis Chakra is related to the liver, spleen, stomach, small intestines, and the pancreas. Yellow stimulates motor function, assists with healing of the nervous system, balances portal circulation, and acts as a lymphatic stimulant, cholagogue (promoting the discharge of bile from the system), digestive stimulant, and an anthelmintic (worms, parasites).
